Who is counseling Cain to go this route? Suing The Politico? That’s not going to end well at all - for Cain that is.

What are the grounds? Clearly, it’s reporting based on facts; there were claims of harassment that the Cain campaign has conceded. So it can’t be that the reports were biased or false. The further revelations that multiple women were potentially harassed makes this (the campaign considering a suit) even harder to believe.

Sounds like they’re trying to sue on sour grapes and that’s not going to cut it.

Besides, once they open the door on a lawsuit, they’ll open Cain up to all kinds of discovery - not the thing you want to do during a campaign. And all the other media outlets will be circling like vultures.
