The cruel part of me would actually laugh its ass off if Bachmann won Franken’s seat, as it would give those who demanded his resignation exactly what they wanted: A woman elected to his seat.

And for those of us who didn’t want him to resign in the first place? Am I just supposed to live with the consequences because a bunch of people are fucking stupid?

Well, I suppose that’s exactly what’s happening with Trump, so the answer to that question is obviously yes.
