I saw a tweet thread yesterday that explained it pretty well. Wish I could find it, but here’s the basic thrust:

Epstein invites rich guys to his parties, which are crawling with underage girls. One thing leads to another, and said rich guys retire with said underage girls to bedrooms in Epstein’s house, which are wired for audio and video.

Boom. Instant ‘client.’ AKA he blackmailed his way to a fortune.
