You ever watch an episode of a crime drama where the defense attorney, stuck with a client who is (to use a legal term) āguilty as fuckā and thereās no real way to argue reasonable doubt that they committed the crime, so they instead try to throw up a huge smokescreen by delving into the actions and motives of the victims? Or trying the time-dishonored tradition of āputting the system on trialā?
No, Iām familiar with the concept. Itās just so bizarre. Is he seriously suggesting that Trumpās extortion was a crime of passion?
