Do otters feed at specific times of day?
Can you wait for it to go out & block it’s return route?
Or is it a stilt house kinda place.
We had skunks, at my last apartment.
The county advice was to put a one way trap door, on the exit route, sprinkle white flour on the ground & once the critters were out, you could secure the door.
