Agreed. This stuff is just window dressing and taking points. Probably not much of a reflection of any actual intentions. It seems that neither side this time is trying to advance anything of substance. I expected as much from Republicans but Obama doesn’t seem to be hinting at anything about what his second term might involve. I do hope he has some ideas and plans and just isn’t talking about them.

As soon as he is reelected he’s going to declare an OWS statutory holiday.
