No. It is completely irresponsible and provocative to carry a rifle at a “peaceful demonstration”. Where do you draw the line? What if someone brought a truck full of fertilizer and diesel fuel to a “peaceful demonstration”? Would that still be a neutral position?

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. This is America’s Taliban, and I want you to acknowledge it. We elected our leaders in open and honest elections and these thugs, want to use a show of force to hijack democracy.

1) the Taliban WAS the Afghan GVMT pre-9/11
2) The Taliban is a well run group of terrorists using intimidation these people never dreamed of, can you really picture them raping your daughter to get you to allow them into your house. I mean, really, they wear J-Crew shorts.
3) This is the USA, not Afghanistan. We allow our citizens to bear arms. We have restricted the types of armaments they can bear legally.
4) Idiocy is not agains the law.
5) Ignorance is not against the law.
6) The Secret Service and AZ sheriffs most likely inspected all of the weapons prior to the demonstration.

7) If you are an anti-war protestor, you bring pictures of bombed out buildings, pictures of horribly mutilated children etc to the protest.
8) If you are protesting the desire of the government to reverse the 2nd amendment, you can show up with pictures of weapons but the the statement loses a lot.

Anyone who was intimidated by this fringe group of idiots is an idiot. Castrated bulls, every one of them.
