It’s just that the horse-pill that each of us has to swallow… too much, just too much to be comfortable.

Don’t know where you are located, but here in California things are starting to look very, very awkward. Interesting side effect wrt immigration. The housing industry, which has been so important to SoCal the last 7 or 8 years, has evaporated and the need for the non-skilled and low-skilled laborer has declined. I know that I see fewer groups of Mexicans hanging around corners waiting for day-jobs.

I’m in central-Illinois. Our unemployment number jumped by 1 yesterday about 5 pm when a guy named Blagojevich got launched.

I’ve been hearing anecdotal stories about truck loads of Mexicans heading south back over the border as the jobs situation deteriorates in California.
