Well….I’m not even sure about that. That suggests that there’s something to be disgusted about, and they’re just more sensitive to it. Not that I think that’s what you’re saying.

One thing I’ve noticed is that many homophobes seem to do an awful lot of talking and thinking about the mechanics of men having sex with other men, then they ask you to share their disgust about aspects of anal or oral sex. So, MAYBE the hatred is overcompensating for feeling drawn to it despite themselves, or maybe it’s just an unhealthy need to judge people who aren’t like you. I dunno. Saying they’re latent homosexuals who hate gays because they’re afraid of that aspect of themselves is too easy and smug.

One can only look at how many anti gay politicians, clergy, etc have been revealed to be hypocrites.
