I undersatnd people being upset at the cover. I don’t understand how that translates to people not being upset about it being assholes. I guess because we don’t care enough about the people who are upset?

For me, whenever I see pictures of the victims, that’s where I get the pang. That’s where I want to turn the magazine face down and not look at it. And that’s generally where I feel unease at money being made with the image, of a dead victim. And yet I’ve seen pictures of the victims suggested as a replacement.
