Well, it’s the 4th of July here in the US, a long weekend for some workers. My grandson will run a route as usual later today. And I haven’t heard one firecracker go off yet.

I think I’ll “celebrate” by watching “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee” at some point. My grandson got me that, along with a 2 disc set of 15 “classic” movies, including Bette Davis in “Of Human Bondage” (1934) and Vivien Leigh in “Anna Karenina” (1948) among others. Boris Karloff in “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court” (1952) and Sean Connery in “MacBeth” (1961), for instance. Those 2 ought to be interesting. : )
