We should be glad that he current Administration did not get their wish to cut deeply into the various discovery programs. When Congress did the the funding for 2018 they just punted and decided to roll over the funding as it was previously planned.

But for the 2019 budget, if Congress gets around to it before the election, I wonder how many of these kind of NOAA programs will survive.

Just let Presnitwit Donny name them something like The Ocean Patrol and think he created the whole concept and all the money will go through.

He probably even remembers the old show Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. He is scared of sharks I think, so Ocean Patrol can “Make The Seas Safe for Americans Again.”
