Throwing eggs - or rotten fruit - is a long-standing political tradition, not just in the US but worldwide. I’ve seen it done here in Czech Republic and other European countries, albeit rarely.

If a person is running for office, well….it goes with the territory, doesn’t it? As long as it’s not bullets flying, or genuinely dangerous objects/projectiles, I’ll let it pass.

Apparently the person who did it was a person wearing a gorilla mask riding a bicycle. Cue the cries from the right wingers on the liberal racists. (No indication the person is a liberal.)

As for what Larry Elder was doing, he was touring a homeless camp in Venice and using the homeless as a photo op, while the people there were all booing him.
