Hate to say it, but the answer to Sarah’s question, IMO, is “probably not much”. Even given the massive (by historical standards) turnover of personnel in the Trump Administration (remember Rachel Maddow’s “wall”?) a group bail a la BoJo/Tories would probably have had a minimal effect. TFG would likely simply have insulted/derided/dismissed them all in a series of nasty tweets, the GOP would have backed him up, the RW media would have engaged in a orgy of “good riddance” BS, and the rest of the media might have dwelt on for a day or so: until the next circus/scandal/flap/deflection popped up - as it inevitably would have.

What they should have done, if they had the spine, was remove him for the last two weeks of his term pursuant to the 25th Amendment, since he was clearly not fit to hold the office.
