Our home will be fine. A few million years after humans go extinct, the Earth will be covered in a fantastic diversity of new life, and there will be few clues left that we ever existed.

With a little luck Earth will be humanities favorite place to vacation after a hard year out among the stars. I read a novel once where Earth was a vast cemetery for humanity that had spread to millions of worlds. For some reason all want to come home to rest forever.
