So do I, and I can’t help but notice that the only time they’re willing to show any “empathy” toward POC, LGBTQ Americans, the disabled, and the less fortunate have, or are, experiencing is when they feel/think the same thing is happening to them—the same thing that they’ve been doing to these groups for hundreds of years. When they do display their form of “empathy” for these groups, it’s self-serving and only temporary.
