HuffPo’s reporter happens to be one of the best sources of information on the Iranian situation - better even than the big media outlets like Reuters, AP, CNN, FoxNews.

In a way, I’m glad Obama called on her because it shows that someone in the Administration has been paying attention to what has been written, even if they haven’t said the right things and muddled their way through hoping to end up on the right side of history via serendipity.

Agreed. He also posted a few hours ago that he was soliciting questions from Iranians to ask at the press conference. It’s not surprising that he was called on. The only bummer is that the left wing coverage of Iran has been so much better than right wing coverage. This whole situation has been a huge windfall for Huffpo.
