I fear the flu shot because of all the anecdotal evidence I’ve heard from people who get it saying they get sick.

I’ve never had a flu shot in my life due to a crippling fear of needles. I’ve only recently been able to get blood drawn at all, and that was because the lab tech decided to use a butterfly needle and go through the back of my hand instead of a syringe in my arm.
