He plays fast & loose with the facts. When he was at Cairo University he talked of Jefferson’s Koran that Ellison swore in on.
The implication was that Jefferson had great respect for the Koran.
In fact he only had it to read so that he could understand the Jihad that the Ambassador to the Court of St> James from Tripoli spoke of.

IIRC, another word for it is “flim-flam”
