Nuance produces hope and in this case hope is something Romney wanted to to diminish. He believes, as I do, that the ultimately sought peace isn’t possible at this time and so its best not waste time on futile efforts to reach it. For the time being abandon hope in it and let’s refocus our efforts where they can do some good.

If that’s what he really believes, then he’s a fucking coward for not saying it on the stump, or in front of AIPAC.
