It’s what people do to defend their group. I never accused every Tea Partier of being a Birch Society disciple but was accused of it constantly. OWS defenders use the same technique, it’s just human nature.

Human nature. You know that made me think of a couple of things.

• Calling people who side with OWS apologists.
• Cheering on “hippie punching.”
• Calling people that sided with OWS moonbats.
• Guilt by association with Wikileaks.
• Guilt by association with Bradley Manning.
