How does that square with Obama as The Angry Black Man seething with rage? I wish they’d pick a narrative and just stick with it.

The narrative is ephemeral and irrelevant.

Conservative “policy” in the US has devolved into a seething, white-hot ball of primal rage in response to Obama electoral wins in 2008 and 2012.

They aren’t even pretending to have actual policy positions other than “lower taxes on the rich” any more.
