re: #15 HoosierHoops

Really? How dumb..I make a 6 figure income that is taxable.. If I drop coverage I would only pay 95 bucks a year? I double that as a bar tab at the lodge on Friday nights..I could just pay a yearly visit my Doctor and save big bucks.Till I get sick..Then I’ll sign up for Obamacare.
Doesn’t make sense to me.

Don’t chance it, Hoops—many of us here aren’t exactly spring chickens, so the likelihood that we’ll need insurance sooner rather than later is probably pretty high. My episode earlier this year ended up being billed at just shy of $400K. Thankfully, my insurance covered $399K of that.

Catch is that when the sign up window closes in March, you can’t sign up for the rest of the year. So if you get cancer in April, you are in deep doo doo.

THIS.
