THERE was a post on my fb today stating that the price of gas was $1.80 when Obama took office.

My first thought was —really? I don’t remember $1.80 —in nearly a decade. I thought about looking it up and thought, why? When it is a GOP candidate, the response would be —the POTUS has nothing to do with the price of gas.

And we’d have another round of Congressional Hearings on the price of gas. I think once in the spring every year is enough.

1.745 in 12/2008. Which 2 months after the October market crash. That same year it reached a high of 4.114 in 7/2008. Right now it’s sitting at 3.910.

It’s basically back in the position it was before the market crash of ‘08.
