Oh gosh…if you want me to, I’ll go dig up video et al. Some of the various people promoting the tea parties spoke of “let’s teabag Obama!” meaning, let’s mail him teabags, etc. It was embarrassing. I’m pretty sure RedState was one of them, but maybe not.

Anyway, that was why it came up on the Maddow show: people supporting the teaparties were already using ‘teabagging’ as a verb and referring to themselves as ‘teabaggers’, without being aware of the sexual connotations of it.

Seems to me that this came up about 15 years ago…
Can’t recall any references to scrotum licking at that time…

Could be wrong, probably not.
