Just curious, if anyone knows. Is it better to do a water landing wheels up or wheels down.
Wheels up might induce ‘skipping’ like a rock on a pond…..?
Wheels down might cause uncontrolled drag…….?
Just wondering.

Wheels down could cause the plane to nose down and start cartwheeling, IIRC-so procedure would be to land wheels up…..
