I’m moderately confused here: do the Archbishop’s comments mean that Trump (or his creatures) just decided to show up at the JP2 Shrine without (?)permission(?). Without asking/telling anyone?

I presume that a Church facility like this would be more-or-less open to the public, but someone would have to OK (or at least be advised of) a Presidential visit?

I popped over to CSPAN where they’re broadcasting the visit. Looks like some preparations were made that had to include people at the church. He and Melania are just walking around. Now they’re praying in front of the JP II statue. Doesn’t really look much better than what he did yesterday.
