AMAZED— The senate didn’t pass the expanded background checks so for the time being thats dead in the water..I personally am amazed that this one issue… they could not agree on. I realize some people believe that when a background check is initiated that it tells the feds what you bought etc..that is farthest from the facts. Dad and i have run 100’s of checks and all the information needed is on your DL. We do ask for SS# to input in the system only to speed up the check and keep you straight if you have a common name. No where do we input what firearm you purchased, it isn’t required. There is a short video on how the NICS system works i will be putting up later for those who are curious what all a check entails… i am still shaking my head
