It’s mind-boggling that a disgusting person like Pat Buchanan hasn’t been made a pariah by the right wing.

But, like lawhawk said upthread, he was.

The late William F. Buckley Jr. expelled Buchanan from the pages of the National Review many years ago for his crudely anti-Semitic rants, which included a very unattractive tinge of admiration for Hitler.

Of course NR isn’t the whole right wing. But it is certainly a downhill slide from there to the august pages of WND.
