Ground army. I don’t know much else; my aunts didn’t know much about what he actually did there.

Do you or other relatives have his discharge papers? I have my dad’s, who lived until I was 26 but never talked about it… it was only from those documents was I able to find out his MOS (cavalryman) and unit (recon Bn, 12 Arm Div).

A couple of those details and it would be possible to figure where he was and what he did (in general terms).
