David Lynch is one of the greatest directors and film makers ever. But, I will have to consider his character after his recent support of Polanski.

I agree with you on Lynch but frankly I would be more surprised if anyone in Hollywood came out and denounced Polanski. Hollywood tends to be a vapid cesspool of moral relativism (and I say this as an agnostic non-socon) and special rules. I’m not losing any sleep over the show of support.
