A lot of the anti-Muslim stuff floating around out there is simply re-hashed anti-Semitic tropes. So far, though, no one’s come up with an anti-Muslim “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”, by I suspect someone out there is doubtlessly working hard at it.

Read my mind. I actually did a lot of research on Anti-Semitism since my term paper was on pogroms and it’s downright eerie how much this stuff resembles itself. And you know where a lot of the old Anti-Semitic came from? Yep, the wingnuts new favorite country of Russia where Anti-Semitism has been a problem for centuries.
