This is the kind of thing that puts politicians at the very bottom of the “crappiest people in the world” list, a ranking that makes child molesters sigh with relief:

U.S. war funding bill brims with unrelated extras

So’s ya all don’t have to waste time reading the article, allow me to sum up:

Democrats add all sorts of crapola (like “cash for clunkers” vouchers) to the war funding bill - so they can get their little projects in a position to sneak ‘em through.

Republicans oppose the wasteful spending b.s.

Democrats respond by (as one aide put it):

“This is a dangerous game Republicans are playing by jeopardizing the well-being of our soldiers to score political points,” the aide said. “The supplemental will be passed, but they will have to answer for their actions if they oppose it.”

It takes a special kind of low-life to make that kind of statement.
