A few weeks back I put a birdhouse out on the front porch

Yesterday I went out the front door and there were 2 birds on the top railing chirping their beaks off looking at the house

I looked up above the house from where it was hanging and saw the reason for their concern
There was a snake just inches from the birdhouse opening. It had to be at least 18 inches long. I got a stick and removed it, put it on the driveway and it hissed and lunged at me several times

I was going to release it into the woods out back, but after that display, lets just say Mr. Snake is no more!
