Oddly enough, I’ve been all wrapped up and tied in knots over the Dept of Ed’s decision to proceed with the whole “gainful employment” provisions of the Higher Education Act. Real inside baseball type of stuff, but the gist is that for-profit schools - like mine - are going to be held to yet another set of standards (these more or less impossible to meet) to which the not-for profits (and the taxpayer subsidized publics) are not.

Think of it as a simulacrum of the whole “public option” thing with healthcare.
