I’m sure it’s true that some people are more likely to vote if they’re inspired. But the thing is, I don’t need to respect that. I don’t need to think that’s a justifiable thing.

I mean, a number of folks on the Right who HATED Trump, and everything he stood for and promised, but voted for him ONLY because of the Supreme Court and the Judiciary. The Right works like that. They will go out and vote every time, whether they like the candidate or not. I hate everything they stand for, but I wish to god the Left had that level of commitment.

I bet a lot on the Left think their strategy is working; they are willing to put up with four years of Trump to keep a Clinton out of the WH and move the Democrats to the Left. For example, The Obamacare exchanges would be working pretty well if Clinton was President, but Trump’s sabotage is moving the Party toward supporting Medicare-for-all.
