It’s entirely possible that Trump is delusional enough to think he’s still going to win. It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest. He probably looks at sites like Free Republic and thinks it’s representative of American public opinion.

He is realistic enough to know that he cannot back down now, regardless of his diminishing chances. And when he loses, he will blame it on media favoritism, voter fraud and manipulation.
