A lot of the same models that are used to predict the weather several days out are also used to predict the decades and centuries spanning trends. If one thing that needs to be constantly iterated and reiterated is that because of the nature of chaotic systems, and climate is the PREMIERE chaotic system, no accurate prediction is EVER possible beyond a few days, weeks at most. Read up on the history of the science of Chaos and Edward Lorenz. The wiki article about Chaos theory has a history section that absolutely blows out of the water all the AGW/ACC bullshit.

Remember “cancer cluster” of the ’80s. Chaos theory showed that “clustering” in random systems occurs.
