Sullivan was plenty reactionary when he said this about those of us who opposed the war in Iraq:

Sullivan proved himself to be as IGMFY conservative as the worst wingnuts. He was just smoother about his delivery.

I was not aware that Sullivan had been so offensive about opponents of the Iraq war disaster. Sullivan is gay, so he really shouldn’t be singing the praises of “the great red zone that voted for Bush”, since that same great red zone would mostly be pleased to see Sullivan drawn and quartered.
