We’ve seen this shit play out again and again, we hope that the generals in charge will reign in a warmongering president, then we find out that the career-minded bastards were willing to tell the administration what it wanted to hear if it got them closer to that next star and cushier job. Anybody thinking he’ll be the one to talk sense might as well have an attendant whispering in his ear “Remember Shinseki.”

Shinseki was getting to play war on Saddam’s game board and our military knew it was more a demonstration and arcade game duck shoot…so they were into that.

This is different. There doesn’t seem to be any good ‘military thinking’ reasons for a nuke shootout and hopefully they will reject this.

But then, I also realize I am mostly positive in outlook. Trump is a Joker acting as the Wild Card.
