Raúl Juliá was the best Gomez ever.

I grew up watching reruns of the old Addams Family TV series and certainly no offense to John Astin, but Raúl Juliá’s take on the character is simply better.

And out of curiosity, I just checked to see if John Astin is still with us, and he is, at 91 years old.
