It’s been a while since I’ve had to buy a battery. I think the last one I bought was in the winter of 2020, for my little daily driver, since it was seeing very little use in the midst of the pandemic. In addition to the brand new battery, I also ordered an additional battery tender for it so that I could keep the battery in Mrs. Fish’s land yacht on its tender.

Friend’s gave warning yesterday, and her car is 7 years old, so it’s at the end of its expected life. Cleaning the corrosion buildup from the terminals wasn’t enough, though that’s the trigger for many no-starts.
