As much as I respect Gore Vidals positions on LGBT rights, I just could not agree that opposing legislation from our President is treason on the part of Congress or a Senator. That remark (met with huge applause) gave me pause.

Filibustering the debt ceiling was unbelievably dickish though, and at least the far left types making the treason comments aren’t establishment party leaders, like say Rick Perry.
