You do realize that the statistics confirm that home-schooled children generally outperform public-school wards, both on high-school knowledge, and later in college?

Home-schooling parents run the spectrum but they’re concentrated toward the higher end, because those who are at the lower end quite sensibly have no confidence in their own ability to teach their kids geometry, physics, Shakespeare.
