Is this “Surge” by IDF very different than what the US finally did to beat Al Qaeda in Iraq? Anyone?

Are we not proposing to “surge” troops into Afghanistan for the same reason, to beat the Taliban and AlQaeda?

Surging is what grown ups do to stop jihadists.
