Question for any HVAC folks/engineers out there:

Am I better off leaving my AC, on or better off letting the house warm up and then cooling it later?

I am not an HVAC anything, or an engineer anything, but to me it’s blindingly obvious that you save energy and money by turning the A/C off (or at least “down”, i.e. raise the thermostat temp setting) while you’re not at home. I’m always surprised how many people believe otherwise.
