No I claim that the GOP is purposefully fanning those flames. I claim that some in the GOP are racist and I claim that the GOP is responsible for making this worse rather than better in a callous attempt to gain political traction.

I claim that the right wing blogoshere and Fox and most of the right wing talking heads are infested with this crazy and that most of those folks consider themselves to be the voice of Republicanism.

I also claim about three dozen threads on this blog as evidence to back up those assertions.

I would submit that one side is more focused on race and it infuses everything they do. Separating races, judging people by the color of their skin, having a racial identity first and an American identity second. There is one party in this country that does this? Which one?
