If I seemed cranky in my post, it’s ‘cos multitudes of my countrymen and our allies died to ensure that I don’t have to sit back while people talk crap like that.

Some people need reminding that war graves all over Europe bear names that aren’t just American. They do their own countrymen a disservice by the very implication. They fought and died as allies. That’s how we should remember them.
