After I get back from my tea/lunch, I’m debating leaving #1 Daughter in charge of #2 Daughter, #1 Son, the cats, etc., and heading down to stare at the river for a bit. It occurred to me last night (I work the graveyard shift from hell crunching numbers and yelling at work monkeys to quit making so goddamned much scrap for me to sort through, etc., etc.) that I haven’t been alone in something like 6 months or more.

No wonder I’m so freakin’ irritable.
