Holy shit.

A drunk driver just ahead of me on the interstate slammed into a concrete lane divider and pinwheeled into an SUV that FLIPPED into the air and landed in front of the car in front of me and my girlfriend.

That car slammed into the bottom of the SUV. I braked in time. I don’t think anyone was seriously hurt, but the woman in the SUV was trapped inside until the firemen got there. When the police pulled the guy out of his car, a half-empty can of beer fell out.

For two seconds — two very long seconds — I was driving into a Michael Bay movie. That SUV was UP IN THE AIR. But when I came to a stop, I wasn’t alarmed or freaked out… I was just like, huh, that’s interesting.

But now I am all keyed up and can’t sleep. Delayed shock?

Hell of a day. Oh, and we saw a barred owl and some baby groundhogs earlier, while hiking. Yep.
